As an archaeologist who often travels for work, I can appreciate a good family getaway. Our stay at Osteria in Lugano was a welcome retreat. The warm and attentive host, Giuvana, made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. It was refreshing to see someone genuinely invested in making our stay comfortable and memorable. Traveling with a small child can come with its challenges, but the clean and spacious room allowed us to set up a cozy environment. Every morning, we enjoyed a delightful continental breakfast, featuring great coffee and homemade jam—perfect for fueling our adventures. The location was a real win for us. Just a minute away from the bus stop made getting into the city center a breeze, and for our day trip to Milan, Giuvana even lent us her umbrella, which showed her thoughtful hospitality. Osteria is an excellent choice for families. It checks all the boxes for an enjoyable vacation, providing both comfort and convenience. I’d recommend this spot if you're in the Lugano area.
